I purchased a folding bike last week that I can put in my closet and bring out when I want to explore the city more quickly. It’s pretty nifty. I can fold it up in about 2 minutes. It’s certainly not the kind of thing that you can put in a bag and inconspicuously bring on the bus, though.
It’s good for about an hour-long ride and then the seat makes the old cheeks a little sore. There’s a nice river-side ride just about 2 minutes from my house. The park that you see behind has been a gathering place for aboriginals for many-many years before Adelaide was built.
Here’s a screen grab of my second modeling assignment
(the first was to model a computer mouse). The only constraint of the assignment was to keep the total number of triangles on the creature to 1000. I tried to make it look like a traditional Japanese dragon, but it evolved more into a meaner looking thing. This angle makes it look gorilla-like, but it’s actually very long, and looks like a crocodile from other angles.
Fun!
